General Terms and Conditions for the membership SEF.Founder Community of NZZ Connect

1. Scope
The following General Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to the members of the SEF.Founder Communityof NZZ Connect. They are valid from the date of acquisition of membership.

2. Membership 

Membership is aimed at:

-        Founders and CxOs of the winners and finalists of the Swiss Economic Awards

-        Founders and CxOs of the winners and finalists of the Swiss Technology Awards in the "Startup" category

-        Winners and finalists of the SEF.Woman Award in the category "Young Entrepreneur of the Year" and

-        Founders and CxOs of qualified companies participating in the SEF.Growth programme

-        Other (young) companies from the NZZ Connect network

 

Membership is by personal invitation only. Membership is personal and non-transferable (Exceptions are possible after consultation with the community manager). A maximum of four members per company can be registered as SEF.Founder.

The SEF.Founder ecosystem membership is aimed at organizations that contribute to the promotion of young companies and is selectively awarded to appropriate organizations by NZZ Connect.


3. Benefits of membership for SEF.Founder 
Members benefit from the following advantages due to the services provided by NZZ Connect in accordance with section 5 below:

-        Fostering the exclusive entrepreneur network

-        Cross-industry knowledge exchange

-        National and international networking with decision-makers

-        Oppurtunities to participate in SEF.Founder Community functions, events and specials

-        Creation of new business opportunities

-        Promoting entrepreneurship in Switzerland

-        Combining knowledge, experience and expertise

 

4. Duration and costs of membership 
The membership can be cancelled at any time by the end of the year (31.12) for the next year. After cancelling the membership you can always reenter. The cancellation or change must be made in written form to NZZ Connect by e-mail: connect@nzz.ch. The membership renews automatically for another year unless member gives written notice not to renew.

The following membership is possible:

-        SEF.Founder – CHF 490.00 excl. VAT per Member 

Invoicing takes place at the end of the year for the following year or after entry for the current year. The aforementioned amount must be paid within a payment period of 30 days.


5. Services provided to SEF.Founder members by NZZ Connect 

  • SEF.Founder Conference incl. Networking evening  @ Swiss Economic Forum

  • SEF.Underground @ Swiss Economic Forum - only as package with SEF.Founder Conference

  • SEF.Founder Conference incl. Networking Evening  and 2nd Day @ Swiss Economic Forum

  • SEF Friday Evening Event (exclusive SEF Afterevent)

  • Swiss Economic Forum - guaranteed  paying ticket - until end of febuary guaranteed

  • SEF.Academy @ Swiss Economic Forum (one-time participation / member) SEF.Founder / SEF.Growth Events ( 4 - 6 Events per Year)

  • SEF.Award Party

6. Address cleansing 
Each member is responsible for ensuring that their address is up-to-date. New address information or changes to addresses can be sent to founder@swissecononic.ch at any time.

7. Data protection 
NZZ Connect attaches great importance to data protection. Personal data are handled in strict confidence. However, NZZ Connect reserves the right to use data for its own advertising purposes as well as for its own publications and to pass on data to its partners for their advertising purposes and publications. Furthermore, the contact details will be visible on the member platform for other SEF.Founder members. The SEF.Founder Member can object to the use of his data for advertising or publication purposes at any time in writing by mail or e-mail.


8. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction 
The services of NZZ Connect, the events it organizes and the present regulations are exclusively subject to Swiss law. For the events to which the member receives access due to his SEF.Founder membership, the event-specific terms and conditions apply. Any disputes that may arise between the Member and NZZ Connect regarding or in connection with the SEF.Founder Membership shall be settled by negotiation, if possible. Should this not be possible, the ordinary courts in Thun shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
